YELLOW BULLET FORUMS WINDOWS
If he really wants to run it put the 850 back on till this gets sorted. I see this kid infront of us, stock height, fart cannoned, yellow bullet winshield banner with stickers galore on windows and car, LS cobalt, so i say to my buddy get up next to him and toy with him i wanna ask him if he wants to meet on a backroad for a race with a saturn :lol. Probably need to inspect the blocks for random drilling before running it hard again. I wouldn't run it at WOT at the track or anywhere for that matter until the main metering issues with the jets and PVs are sorted. Don't understand why the builder thought it would run harder with an 830.Ĭan you open the sec throttle a little and close the primary? close off some of that primary transition slot? It's probably pulling too much fuel out of there, which is why the idle screws are all the way in. That's probably why it has those metering blocks in it. It's really a 750 main body on an 850 baseplate, same as the old 830 used for so many years in NASCAR and whatnot. If it's really at 38 and locked, retarded timing is not the issue causing the the issues with the idle mix. You think he can read/operate a WBO2 sensor? It might be easiest and fastest way to get this frankencarb back in the ballpark.

Leave the jets, put the power valves back in.
YELLOW BULLET FORUMS HOW TO
Would appreciate some tips on how to get it to perform as expected. 072 IB, and metering blck #11938.? The metering block is used on 750hp #80528-2? The idle works best with the mixture screws all the way in tight. We decided to open up the carb because it wasn't responding to fuel air adjustments. The carb builder whom I won't name said to leave it alone, I built it to my spec's for your program. It is running 4 mph slower than the old 850 #4781 in the same air. Anyway having an issue with Holley 950HP #80496-1. Sorry Mark- I have read so many of your posts on Yellow Bullet I thought you owned the place lol.
